Building Bridges to God and Helping People Across
"It's urgent that you listen carefully to this: Anyone here who believes what I am saying right now and aligns himself with the Father, who has in fact put me in charge, has at this very moment the real, lasting life and is no longer condemned to be an outsider. This person has taken a giant step from the world of the dead to the world of the living.  -- John 5:24 (The Message)

FAQ

Q. Why doesn't your church look like a church?

A. We believe the people are the church, not the building, and we wanted a facility that we could use for different purposes.

Q. Who are you associated with?

A. We are associated with
The Churches of God General Conference, originally headquartered in Harrisburg, PA and now in headquartered in Findlay, OH.

The first problem is that there are at least twelve groups in the United States that call themselves Church or Churches of God.  There are a few around the area, but that leads us to the second problem.  Our style is completely different from most churches, including those we are associated with.  So if you have been to a Church of God, it doesn't mean you have seen how we do church.

Our doctrine is Wesleyan, which is similar to Methodist, General Baptist, and Nazarene doctrine.  But we also think that God is bigger than doctrine.  We don't think we have a corner on the doctrine market.

Q. So why associate with the Churches of God?

A. This is a great question.  Most people today could care less about denominations.  And to be honest, most denominations are dying institutions.  The Churches of God is not dying.  They are one of the very few denominations that are actually growing.  They have dynamic leadership.  They offer ways to participate in youth camps, missions, training, a
seminary, and spiritual growth.  They have funded our church plant and have asked for nothing in return.
