Building Bridges to God and Helping People Across
"It's urgent that you listen carefully to this: Anyone here who believes what I am saying right now and aligns himself with the Father, who has in fact put me in charge, has at this very moment the real, lasting life and is no longer condemned to be an outsider. This person has taken a giant step from the world of the dead to the world of the living.  -- John 5:24 (The Message)

Four Ways to Experience The Crossover

You are welcome to join us in any of the following experiences.

1. Sunday Morning - 10 AM - Join us every Sunday for an hour long worship service that features contemporary worship music and useful Bible teaching (which you can find online).  Our website also features a 3-5 minute video that introduces the portion of Scripture for the next Sunday' sermon so that you can have a headstart on this week's teaching.

2. Home Groups - Each Home Group meets seven times in the fall and seven times in the Spring and is an opportunity to get to know people, pray together, eat together, and interact with the Bible teaching from Sunday morning.

3. Local Service - We are regularly involved in several ways to bless our local community.  We help with Habitat for Humanity.  We give a scholarship to a local TLC student to attend Lakeland College.  As school started, we collected new book bags and school supplies for the younger grades at Humboldt TLC.

Usually the last weekend in June, we do several projects throughout the community, such as home repair, Big Brothers/Big Sisters picnic, painting the Humboldt school gym, visiting local nursing homes, etc.  Several churches in Coles County participate in this project called C.O.R.E weekend.

4. Global Service - We take about two to three trips each year to southern Haiti to the Grande Anse River valley where we build schools, develop agriculture, and love the people.  We are a partner church with
New Life for Haiti.  Each winter we also participate in Operation Christmas Child sending a shoebox gift to poor children all over the world.

Some of Our Other Favorite Things

Once a quarter on the fifth Sunday - Pastor Brian takes your great questions and tries to help us to navigate through the things of God that have always bugged or we just don't understand.

Kid's Church - During our Sunday worship, kids fourth grade and under are welcome in our Kid's Church or Nursery.

Youth Groups - On Wednesday nights, we have two youth groups that meet.  One is for Kindergarten to 6th grade.  The other is 7th to 12th grade.
