CONNECTIONS

70 DAYS OF VISION SMALL GROUPS: During this 10 week period, we hope your life is changed. One essential element is that you meet together with others to discuss it. We will have at least two or three small groups. One will be in Charleston. Please sign up to be in a small group, and we will let you know the details.

ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING: Sunday, September 9th @ 5PM, we will gather for our annual congregational meeting. Pastor Brian will lay out the vision for the next year and a vote will be taken on refinancing the facility. Our three year loan is due, but we have good opportunities to refinance.

KID’S CHURCH: Kid’s Church is at the same time as our Worship Service. KidStuf follows at 11AM. At this time, we can not staff the nursery and Kid’s Church, and since we have a lot more kids in the age range for Kid’s Church, we won’t have nursery until we are able to staff it with new volunteers.

WINGMAN MEN’S GROUP MARRIAGE STUDY: Gary Stephen will start a 6 week study of the book Sacred Marriage beginning with the first Monday in October. Let him know if you have any input or interest. This is a very challenging book. Many consider it to be the best book ever written on the subject of Christian marriage. Every man should study this book with other men. Even if you consider it too late to save your marriage, or if you've already been through divorce, this man's insights will help you understand how to get it right if you marry again. Regardless of the current condition of your marriage, plan on coming starting Monday, October 1st.

HAITI MISSION TRIP: If you are interested in going to Haiti on a mission trip in November, please talk with Pastor Brian or Michelle Donnell.

FRIDAY WORSHIP: We are considering starting a Friday night group that will worship, pray, and enjoy being together. This isn’t a replacement to Sunday morning, but an additional opportunity. Talk with Pastor Brian or Tom Schuck if you are interested.

PRAYER OPPORTUNITIES

The Crossover is gaining momentum. God has stirred something up. People are visiting. People are getting involved. Pray the momentum will only build. Pray for healing in the sore areas. Pray for people to take a step with Jesus. Look for people you can love and accept. Give them a call. Send them a note. God is speaking to you as well during prayer. God may bring a ministry to your mind. Make yourself available to this ministry.

Starting in September, we will begin a wonderful time of focus as we begin 70 Days of Vision - a new way to look at life. Pray that God will use this time to establish The Crossover as a vital, healthy church.
